Message in the Box
Some time ago, I revealed my Benetint addiction. What I should have given credit to then, and didn't, was Revlon's Just Bitten lipstain. This baby gives a denser colour on the lips than Benetint does, and is perfect with a bit of clear gloss over it. I favour Cherry Tart, but I'm sure the other shades are equally pleasing. It stays on forever. I would not recommend it for the cheeks, though. Not unless you wish to look like a Victorian prostitute.
Last week, I decided to buy some more of this magic potion, as my current vial's running rather low. And discovered that it was a limited edition product. What is it with me and things being discontinued at the moment? Anyway. I hunted around online, and finally discovered that Boots could supply the goods. I ordered two.
Yesterday they arrived.

Now, I'm no green goddess, but even I know well enough that this amount of packaging is completely unnecessary.

It made me incredibly cross, especially as flatted properties here don't have recycling facilities, meaning it went straight in the wheelie bin. Naughty Cat, I know. But naughty Boots.
Other news? Lunch with my mother was okay. Ish. Afterwards I medicated myself with this little dress from Warehouse, and the Fleet Foxes album. You'll be delighted to hear that I managed to wax lyrical about her engagement ring with good grace. It's almost exactly what I would pick myself were anyone to want to marry me - platinum with one big diamond flanked by two smaller diamonds - which stung a bit. Honestly. What kind of terrible person is jealous of their own mother, for goodness sakes?

"I favour Cherry Tart"
The dancer or the makeup?
Cody, I am not sure who Cherry Tart is, but I'm sure she's hot...
